Looking for a laugh this week? The fourth annual Salt Lake Comedy Festival aims to give you a few.

The event boasts both well-known and up-and-coming performers in every area of comedy: Stand-up, improv, film and more.

Here's the schedule of events and locations:

Wednesday, 7 p.m. • The Salt Lake Comedy Film Festival, featuring local comedic films — including the premiere of Lucas Millhouse's sports comedy "Whip Brawler." Sponsored by the Salt Lake Film Society. Location: Broadway Centre Cinemas, 111 E. 300 South, Salt Lake City.

Thursday, 7 p.m. • "One Mic Stand," a stand-up comedy show featuring 20 local comics, each getting five minutes on stage. Hosted by Marcus (runner-up of "Last Comic Standing"). Location: Wiseguys Comedy, 2194 W. 3500 South, West Valley City.

Friday, 10 p.m. • "Improvaganza," a night of improv comedy with troupes from all over Utah. Location: Main Street Theatre, 7711 S. Main St., Midvale.

Saturday, 7:30 p.m. • The Best of Festival, a compilation of the best from the previous three nights. Also on the bill: An "Armando," a long-form improv work based on the personal stories of a monologist — who this year will be "Radio From Hell" co-host Gina Barberi. University of Utah Post Theater, 245 S. Fort Douglas Blvd., Salt Lake City.

Admission is $10 per night. Go to the festival website for more information.
