Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• The line-up for the 2014 Cannes Film Festival has been announced. Olivier Dahan's "Grace of Monaco," starring Nicole Kidman, will open the festival — and the competition includes new films by David Cronenberg, Jean-Luc Godard, Atom Egoyan, Mike Leigh and others. [Vulture]

• Director Bryan Singer ("X-Men: Days of Future Past") is being accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy back in 1999. Singer's lawyer has denied the accusation, and says the accuser's lawsuit is without merit. [Entertainment Weekly]
