Kingsbury Hall has added two prominent acts to its summer slate — and they could not be any more different.

• Country Hall of Fame member Merle Haggard, famed for his signature tune "Okie From Muskogee" and many other hits, will perform at Kingsbury on Tuesday, June 24. Tickets are set at $35, $45, $55 and $65.

• Comedian and political commentator Bill Maher, who once got escorted off of LDS Church property in Salt Lake City (it's in his documentary, "Religulous"), will perform at Kingsbury on Saturday, Aug. 9. Tickets are priced at $55, $70 and $95.

Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., at Smith's Tix.

Kingsbury Hall is located at 1395 E. Presidents Circle, on the University of Utah campus, Salt Lake City.
