Letter: Whole state is indebted to the Utes

Every day I read The Public Forum, including the many letters on the important subject of the University of Utah's fight song, as well as the U's debt to the Ute Tribe for using their name.

When is somebody going to point out that our state also got its name from the Ute Indian Tribe, and that we are therefore indebted to them for that?
