Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• Fox has canceled Seth McFarlane's much-hated sitcom "Dads," along with two low-rated ones, "Surviving Jack" and "Enlisted." But Fox is bringing "American Idol" back for a 14th season. [Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter]

• NBC Universal has extended its deal with the International Olympic Committee, through the 2032 Olympic Games. [Variety]

• Comedienne Rebel Wilson ("Pitch Perfect," "Super Fun Night") has signed on to star in a remake of Goldie Hawn's military comedy "Private Benjamin." [The Tracking Board]
