ABC glorifies one of its own in Barbara Walters: Her Story (8 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4), tribute to the retiring newswoman.

I'm guessing it will play up the good and ignore the fact that, perhaps more than any one person, Walters is responsible for the celebrity-driven, non-news news that makes up so much of what's on TV today. If you're going to give her the credit, she also needs to accept the blame.
