The good news for BYU offensive lineman Edward Fusi is that he's on the 2014 Rimington Trophy Spring Watch List, which was released on Monday. The honor goes to the top offensive center in college football. The bad news is that about half the centers in major college football — 64 — are also on the list. It is also not a given that Fusi will be BYU's starting center when the Cougars line up next fall, although he is listed as the starter on the depth chart the school posted a couple weeks after spring camp ended. Parker Dawe is listed as Fusi's backup, although Terrance Alletto started BYU's final two games of 2013 at center. Alletto is now listed as Solomone Kafu's backup at left guard. Fusi transferred to BYU from Mount San Antonio College last year and played in 10 games. He missed the other three due to injury. Fusi is form Corona, Calif., and is a 6-foot, 317-pound senior.
