The Utah Jazz fell back one slot and will have the fifth pick in June's NBA Draft, following Tuesday night's lottery.
The Jazz finished the season with a 25-57 record and the fourth-best chance at winning the top overall pick (10.4 percent). But with the Cleveland Cavaliers jumping up to the No. 1 spot, the Jazz were pushed back to the fifth spot.
Bryan Miller, son of Jazz owner Larry H. Miller, represented the franchise in New York City. But Miller — like Kevin O'Connor and Randy Rigby before him — was unable to bring the Jazz the luck they needed to move up. The Jazz have never won the lottery in eight tries.
