A woman's frantic 911 domestic violence call led to a brief standoff with her alleged attacker that ended only when West Jordan police first pepper sprayed and then stunned the suspect with a Taser.
Public safety dispatchers said the 911 call from the home, located near 2200 West and 7100 South, came in at 2:42 a.m. Friday. The woman said she was being held against her will by a 49-year-old man.
Officers arrived to see, through a window, the suspect and the woman arguing. The woman's shirt reportedly had been ripped during the struggle.
