The Aggies were well represented in Athlon's Sports 2014 Preseason all-Mountain West teams with eight players being selected, highlighted by the inclusion of quarterback Chuckie Keeton. Joining Keeton on the first team were senior linebacker Zach Vigil and junior linebacker Zach Vigil. Senior defensive end B.J. Larsen, senior safety Brian Suite, senior offensive tackle vein Whimpey and junior punt returner JoJo Natson were all named to the second-team and senior running back Joe Hill was selected to the third team. Keeton was one of 30 players named to the Heismanpundit/CBSSports.com Heisman Trophy Watch List as a junior, but suffered a season-ending knee injury in the sixth game. Boise State had the most preseason selections with 11, followed by Colorado State with 10 and Fresno State and the Aggies with eight each. - Lya Wodraska
