The Utah Highway Patrol has identified the two victims of a fatal head-on crash on southern Utah's Highway 24 Wednesday as a Tennessee couple.

Troopers say that a westbound pickup truck drifted off the right shoulder, overcorrected and swerved into the path of an eastbound Scion passenger car about 9 a.m. Wednesday on the highway in Capitol Reef National Park.

Killed in the Scion were Stephen Foster, 43, and 41-year-old Kristina Foster, both of Knoxville, Tenn. Neither was wearing a seatbelt, UHP said.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported to Sevier Valley Medical Center in Richfield for treatment of minor injuries.

No citations were issued as the accident remained under investigation on Thursday.
