Washington City police are looking for whoever allegedly assaulted a man in an El Pollo Loco drive-thru.
A little after noon Thursday, a black Honda Odyssey was in the drive-thru of the fast-food restaurant at 745 W. Telegraph St. After receiving the order, the Odyssey started pulling away when a passenger in the sport utility vehicle got into an argument with the driver of a pickup truck directly behind them, according to Washington City police.
At some point, the driver of the Odyssey got out and allegedly assaulted the pickup truck driver, according to police. The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspects, who were described as white men in their mid- to late-20s, one of whom had "scraggly," shoulder-length hair. The Odyssey also had a "Desert Thunder" sticker or insignia on the back, according to police.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 435-634-5730. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
