Horse racing: Formal Joker wins Wyoming Downs' Inaugural

Evanston, Wyo. • Formal Joker went wire-to-wire Saturday and captured the $9,450 Inaugural Stakes at Wyoming Downs.

Trained by Nathan Barrow and ridden by Nathan Condie, Formal Joker prevailed by one-half length over Thirteengoldhearts. Curahee, the 2-to-1 favorite, finished seventh in the nine-horse field.

Owned by Two the Max Investments LLC, Formal Joker won for the third time in 13 starts. The winner's share of $5,670 bumped his career earnings to $23,587.
