I've been trying to figure out why Kate Kelly was so determined to persuade leaders of the Mormon church to allow her to hold the priesthood in their organization. Finally came to me: she wanted to be eligible to serve on the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control board. Brilliant!
