Interstate 80 in Summit County • It has been reduced to one lane in each direction between Wanship and the U.S. 40 interchange near Park City, and the speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph. Lane restrictions will remain through November to allow repaving with concrete.
UDOT says drivers traveling to Wyoming or Echo and Rockport reservoirs should plan on delays, and consider using Interstate 84 as an alternate.
Interstate 15 near Brigham City • Construction continues on the 1100 South interchange. While all lanes will be open for the holiday, barrels and traffic shifts will remain in place. UDOT says drivers should consider U.S. 89 through Willard as an alternate to reduce delays.
I-15 in Davis County • Lanes are narrowed in both directions to add express lanes and rebuild several bridges and interchanges. UDOT says holiday drivers should consider using Legacy Parkway as an alternative.
I-15 near Beaver • Crews are repaving an 8-mile section of I-15 north of Beaver. All lanes will be open Wednesday through Saturday. However, beginning late Sunday night, I-15 will be reduced to one lane in both directions. UDOT said drivers should plan for minor delays and traffic congestion there.
S.R. 201 in West Valley City • All traffic has been shifted into the westbound lanes between 5600 West and 7200 West, with one lane in each direction, for repaving. UDOT suggests using I-80 as an alternative.
P Utah Transit Authority will offer Pioneer Day train service on a Saturday schedule and bus service on a Sunday schedule. However, because of the Days of '47 parade and marathon in downtown Salt Lake City, some delays, detours and interruptions in service are scheduled.
