The heat isn't going anywhere fast, but one part of the state could see some heavy rain.

Salt Lake City is expected to have high temperatures of 93 and 95 on Sunday and Monday, respectively. St. George, meanwhile, is forecasted to see a high of 102 on Sunday and 99 on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Eastern Utah is also expected to see some isolated showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, a few of which may produced heavy rainfall, the weather service reports.

As for the air, Salt Lake, Utah, Davis and Weber counties still have only moderate air quality Sunday and into at least Monday, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality.
