• The Toronto International Film Festival is dedicating an entire day, Sept. 5, to Bill Murray. It's very deserving, but let's not forget the last time Bill got his own day — and it just kept happening over and over and over. [CTV News]

• Emma Stone will be making her Broadway debut, taking over the role of Sally Bowles in "Cabaret" in November (after Michelle Williams leaves). [The Hollywood Reporter]
