BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall used the annual Big Blue Bash on Saturday in downtown Salt Lake City to announce the Cougars' football captains for the 2014 season. The captains will be quarterback Taysom Hill and running back Paul Lasike for the offense and safety Craig Bills and Remington Peck for the defense. Hill and Peck are juniors and Bills and Lasike are seniors. Hill, Peck and Bills are scholarship players, while Lasike is a former walk-on who started his BYU athletic career playing rugby. Last year, the teams captains were all seniors: JD Falslev, Skyler Ridley, Uani Unga and Daniel Sorensen.
