Investigators have made some progress in finding whoever stole police equipment.

On Friday night, the Heber Police say someone stole a badge, an AR-15-type rifle, Glock pistol, shotgun, body armor, helmet, SWAT uniforms, ammunition and other police equipment from an undercover SWAT vehicle. A second vehicle at a house four doors away was burglarized and a third vehicle was stolen, according to the police.

On Sunday, Heber police announced that the stolen vehicle was found in Salt Lake City. Heber detectives are processing the vehicle for forensic evidence, according to a news release.

The equipment, though, is still missing, the release adds.
