Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

• The FBI is investigating the scumbag or scumbags who hacked into the personal accounts of celebrities — including Jennifer Lawrence, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and others — and posted nude photos of the stars online. [Entertainment Weekly]

• "Guardians of the Galaxy" topped the Labor Day weekend box office, or what there was of it. That makes the Marvel movie the highest-grossing movie of 2014. [Box Office Mojo]

• Piers Morgan is officially gone from CNN, having turned down a two-year contract. [The Hollywood Reporter]
