A St. George family of six was without a home after an early Thursday morning fire destroyed their trailer home.

The St. George Fire Department did not report any injuries from the blaze, about 12:30 a.m. Thursday near 1900 W. 1700 North, but did say that one adult and five children were displaced.

The Utah Red Cross confirmed it was helping the family with food, shelter and clothing needs.

The cause of the fire was under investigation, though an electrical problem reportedly was suspected.
