Saturday, May 26:

* 5 p.m.., "Big Daddy" Parade, Main St., Manti. Illene Roth, wife of the late Ed Roth, invites members of the Utah Army National Guard's 1/145th field artillery unit to lead the parade.

Sunday, May 27:

* 8 a.m.., Memorial Service, Salt Lake City Cemetery North section, 951 11th Ave., Salt Lake City. The Japanese Church of Christ and combined Veterans Honor Guard will conduct the service. All survivors of Veterans of 442nd Regimental Combat Team are urged to attend.

* 5 p.m., Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band will perform, Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Road.

* 6 p.m. Band Concert, Holladay Memorial Cemetery, 4900 S. Memory Lane, Holladay.

* 7:30 p.m. Annual Memorial Program, Lake View Memorial Cemetery, 1640 E. Lakeview Drive, Bountiful. The Utah Pipe Band will perform.

Monday, May 28:

* 7 a.m., Salt Lake City Mission Memorial Day Event, Pioneer Park, 300 S. 300 West, Salt Lake City. Events will last until 5 p.m.

* 9 a.m., Outdoor Mass, Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 275 U St., Salt Lake City. The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City, will celebrate the Mass. The cemetery workers and Boy Scout Troop 202 will place flags on the gravesites of veterans.

* 9:20 a.m., Memorial March, starting at the west side of Building 108, Soldiers Circle, ending at Fort Douglas Cemetery. Marchers can enter Fort Douglas from Gate #5 on Hempstead Road.

* 9:30 a.m. Memorial Day Program, Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Road. There will be a flag raising ceremony and concert.

* 9:45 a.m. Memorial Day Program, Mt. View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights. Salt Lake County Sheriff Department Honor Guard and Cottonwood Heights Mayor Kelvyn Cullimore Jr. will be present.

* 10 a.m., Memorial Day Program, Holladay Memorial Cemetery, 4900 S. Memory Lane, Holladay. A flag-raising ceremony will be conducted, and the Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band will perform.

* 10 a.m., Memorial Day Ceremony, Fort Douglas Cemetery, Salt Lake City. The ceremony will include a fallen soldiers memorial, soldier roll-call, wreath placement, 21-gun salute, and speakers.

* 10 a.m., Memorial Day Ceremony, Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 10600 S. 1950 East, Sandy. Senator Bob Bennett will honor Utah Military Veterans, and The Minuteman Brass Quintet will perform.

* 10:30 a.m. Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band will perform, Mt. View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights.

* 11 a.m., Memorial Day Program, Lake Hills Memorial Cemetery, 10055 S. State St., Sandy. Utah Air National Guard, Sandy City Fire Department, and Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band will give special tributes.

* 11:30 a.m. Murray Concert Band, Mt. View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights.

* Noon, Flag Restoration Ceremony, Fort Douglas Cemetery. The flag will be restored from half-mast to full-mast.

* 2 p.m., State of Utah's Official Memorial Day Program, Utah Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 17111 S. Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale. The Utah Division of Veterans' Affairs will host the event, which will feature House Speaker Greg Curtis and Ed Betenson as the guest speakers, the 23rd Army Band Brass Quintet, and a wreath ceremony.
