DVD » Diehard fans may groove to "Battlestar Galactica: The Plan," but casual observers won't. This movie views the events of the series' first two seasons -- spanning nearly a year from the Cylons' attack on the colonies -- from the Toasters' perspective. Director Edward James Olmos (who plays Adama) gets a juicy performance from Dean Stockwell, in a dual role as two versions of the venomous Cylon leader Brother Cavil. The DVD is unrated, but worth an R for sex and nudity that won't make the eventual Syfy channel cut.
