The Southwest Utah Health Department is distributing some H1N1 flu vaccine to private providers but most of the doses the department receives are being reserved for distribution in clinics in the department's five clinic area of Washington, Kane, Garfield, Iron and Beaver counties, spokesman David Heaton said.

As of Oct. 28, no new vaccination clinics had been scheduled. More information will be forthcoming as the health department receives more of the vaccine.

People eligible for the vaccine include:

Children ages 6 months to 10 years and children with high-risk health issues.

Pregnant women.

Parents and caregivers of infants under 6 months of age.

There is no charge for vaccinations although the department requests that people bring their cards if they have insurance.
