PORTLAND, Ore. - Terrell Stovall had 20 points and Weber State upset Portland State 71-61 Tuesday night to advance to the Big Sky Conference tournament title game.
The Wildcats (14-15) will play Montana tonight at Memorial Coliseum. The Grizzlies beat Montana State 79-67 in the early semifinal game. The winner gets a bid to the NCAA tournament.
Seamus Boxley had 24 points and 12 rebounds for Portland State (19-9), which won the regular season conference title by finishing 11-3.
After having trouble hitting shots early in the second half, Portland State squeezed the Wildcats' lead to 59-54 with less than five minutes to go. Will Funn sparked the rally with a 3-pointer and later one of two free throws, and Blake Walker added a short jumper.
