Tuesday on TV: It's a battle among Super Bowl commercials

This year's edition of "Super Bowl Greatest Commercials 2017" (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): is the People's Choice Awards of commercials — viewers have voted online for the favorites.

It was a competition pitting "Bigger is Better" against "Less is More." Host Boomer Esiason campaigned on behalf of his favorite "Bigger is Better" commercials, including Apple's "1984" and the NFL's "Super Bowl Babies Choir" featuring Seal.

And co-host Ruah advocated for the "Less is More" spots, such as Budweiser's "Lost Dog" and Victoria's Secret's "Adriana."

One "Bigger is Better" and one "Less is More" commercial will advance to the live vote during the broadcast, when viewers will decide the outcome, and the winner will be revealed at the end of the show.

Of course, that won't be true for viewers in Utah … because the voting will be over before the special airs in this time zone.
