In the rather astonishingly stupid new series "APB" (8 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13), a tech billionaire reacting to the murder of his friend essentially buys a Chicago police precinct, doles out all sorts of technical gadgets and fights crime.
It's beyond ridiculous. And, given what's happening in the real world, the idea of a billionaire who thinks he can step in and solve all our problems is, well, problematic.
