There's a lot going on this weekend on TV:

• A couple of time-travel series premiere — ABC's "Time After Time" (Sunday, 8 p.m., Ch. 4) gets off to a pretty good start; Fox's "Making History" (Sunday, 7:30 p.m., Ch. 13) is awful. I've seen four episodes, and it's really surprisingly bad.

• The very good miniseries "When We Rise" comes to an end (Friday, 8 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4), and the very good "Masterpiece" series "Victoria" wraps up its first season (Sunday, 8 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7). Excellent news — it has been renewed for a second season.

• The eight-part series "FEUD: Bette and Joan" begins on FX (Sunday, 11 p.m.) — and it's absolutely worth watching.

• An episode aired on Wednesday, but "Chicago Justice" makes its official debut on Sunday (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5). It's "Law & Order" in Chicago.

• And Real Salt Lake opens the 2017 MLS season, hosting Toronto FC (Saturday, 2:30 p.m., KMYU).

And those are just a few highlights.

• "Emerald City" (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): In the finale, Dorothy faces off against the wizard; Glinda brings her power to the battlefield as the threat of the beast looms.

• "Sleepy Hollow" (8 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): A monster that looks like Molly's childhood imaginary friend appears;.

• "Reign" (8 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): Lord Darnley surprises Mary; Elizabeth fights to gain allies.

Saturday on TV …

• College basketball: BYU vs. Loyola Marymount at the WCC tournament (2 p.m., BYUtv); Montana State at Utah State (7 p.m., Ch. 14)

Sunday on TV …

• NBA (4 p.m., ROOT): Utah Jazz at Sacramento Kings

• "60 Minutes" (6 p.m, CBS/Ch. 2): The largest airlift of lions in history, as 33 are rescued from circuses and flown to an African sanctuary.

• iHeart Radio Music Awards (6 p.m., TBS, TNT, truTV): These awards are less meaningful than most — c'mon, they give out an award for best fan army. Really.

But, leaving the dopey awards aside, the sheduled performers include Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, the Chainsmokers and Big Sean.

• "Relative Race" (7 p.m., BYUtv): In the Season 2 premiere, the couples take off from the starting line in Miami.

• "Making History" (7:30 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): Hoo, boy. Nobody sets out to make a bad TV show, but this alleged comedy about a present-day guy (Adam Pally) who goes back to colonial America and messes up history is … well … awful.

• "Madam Secretary" (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Elizabeth tries to reunite the son of the Colombian president and the daughter of a rebel leader, whose upcoming marriage is at the heart of an important peace deal.

• "Time After Time" (8 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): If you remember the 1979 movie with this title, well, you know how this show is going to go — it begins as pretty much a remake. H.G. Wells (Freddie Stroma), and his pal Dr. John Stevenson (Josh Bowman) — who, it turns out, is Jack the Ripper — uses it to escape into the prsent. Where he starts killing people again.

The pilot is good, but then I'm a big fan of the movie. Whether this premise will hold up on a weekly basis … well, only time will tell.

• "Chicago Justice" (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): This is officially the "premiere" of this latest "Chicago" spinoff, although an episode aired on Wednesday. Stone and the state's attorney team probe the events following the arrest and death of a young man and seek charges against police, the fire department and medical personnel.
