Utah State forward Quinn Taylor's availability for next week's Mountain West Conference tournament is in question.

Taylor, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound redshirt sophomore from Houston, was at practice but did not participate on Saturday. Aggies head coach Tim Duryea said Taylor was sidelined because of a "heart condition" and he's scheduled to see a cardiologist on Monday.

"We don't know his status until at least Monday afternoon," Duryea said. "He's out until then. I don't know what the condition is. I don't know that the prognosis is. He could suit up starting Tuesday at practice or he could be done for the rest of the year. I have no idea."

Taylor has played in all 29 games this season (17.9 minutes per game) and has started eight games. He has averaged 5.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, shooting 52.2 from the field.

Taylor scored five points and grabbed five rebounds in Wednesday's regular-season finale against UNLV.

The Aggies will be the eight seed in the conference tournament and will face play ninth-seeded San Jose State at noon MST Wednesday at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
