Though there is still plenty of time to hit the slopes and skiing and snowboarding are excellent right now with great snow conditions, the season is beginning to wind down.
According to Ski Utah's Paul Marshall, a number of resorts have announced closing dates, and some will occur soon.
Nordic Valley has a Sunday closing date, while Cherry Peak is scheduled to close March 26. Eagle Point, Sundance and Beaver Mountain are scheduled to close April 2. Powder Mountain has set its closing date as April 9.
April 16 will be the closing day for a number of resorts, including Brian Head, Snowbasin, Park City, Deer Valley, Solitude, Brighton and Alta.
Snowbird has yet to set a closing date.
Coming up for the spring, Park City Mountain will host its pond skimming event as part of Spring Gruv, which runs March 25 to April 9. The event includes a number of concerts and other activities.
Brian Head will be hosting its Spring Carnival on April 1, while Beaver Mountain's Beaver Bash and pond skim is set April 2.
