Overnight camping will be permitted outside Rice-Eccles Stadium and in surrounding parking lots on campus prior to Saturday's ESPN College GameDay.
Rice-Eccles Stadium camping is permitted only by the southwest corner ticket office and stretching up 500 South, beginning at 8 a.m. Friday.
Fans with Crimson Club tailgate passes may begin parking in the Guardsman Way lot at 3 p.m. Friday. Fans with the proper parking pass who choose to camp in other lots around campus may begin setting up after 5p.m. Friday.
All camping gear along 500 South by the ticket office must be packed up and removed by 5 a.m. Saturday. Entry to the "pit" area for ESPN GameDay will begin at 5:30 a.m. with the line forming outside the ticket office. All parking lots on campus will open at 6 a.m.
The ESPN GameDay crew of Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Chris Fowler and Erin Andrews will begin broadcasting from the stage on the northwest quadrant of the west parking lot in Rice-Eccles Stadium at 7 a.m.
Admittance to the ESPN College GameDay show is free of charge and goes from 7-10 a.m. Food and drinks will be available as long as supplies last. Fans that do not have a parking pass are encouraged to park in the Huntsman Lot ($5), Merrill Engineering Lot (free) or take TRAX. Fans should wear camo-black to the ESPN GameDay show.
Activities on campus Friday includes the Utah men's basketball game vs. Adams State at 7 p.m. in the Huntsman Center, as well as ESPN TV (10 a.m.-noon) and Radio (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) GameDay shows.
ESPN TV's Friday shows are on site in the stadium's west lot, while ESPN Radio GameDay staging is located on the lawn north of the Eccles Tennis Center on 500 South.
