The American West Symphony will perform Verdi's Overture to "La Forza del Destino"; "Amazing Grace: For Jazz Bassoon and Strings," featuring Robert Bedont on bassoon and Justin Morgan on bass; and Ravel's orchestration of Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition." Joel Rosenberg will conduct the performance at Congregation Kol Ami (2425 Heritage Way, Millcreek) Sunday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10.

Rosenberg and the orchestra will reprise the program at the University of Utah's Libby Gardner Concert Hall (1375 E. Presidents Circle, Salt Lake City) on Saturday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. This time, there will be a festive addition: Mozart's Concerto for Three Pianos, featuring three members of the U.'s piano faculty — Ning Lu, Jeffrey Price and Josh Wright. Tickets for this performance are $12.50, but U. students get in free with ID.
