Sacred Music Evening, part of an interfaith tradition in Utah that dates back to the 2002 Winter Olympics, featured dance, scripture readings and prayers in the Mormon Tabernacle on Sunday.
The evening of music, held every spring near the Games' anniversary, is the signature event of Interfaith Month in Utah. It is hosted by the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable.
Sunday's performers included the Obi Festival Dancers and whirling dervishes from the Pacifica Institute. Music and prayers from nearly a dozen Utah faith traditions were presented.
