Utah Jazz point guard Deron Williams will have an MRI performed on his injured right wrist Thursday, the team announced.

Williams heard his wrist "pop" while chasing a loose ball and tangling with San Antonio's George Hill at the end of the first quarter during the Spurs' 112-105 win over the Jazz on Wednesday night.

Despite what was diagnosed as a hyper-extended wrist, Williams scored 29 of his season-high 39 points in the second half. He made 16 of 24 shots, despite going 0-for-5 from the three-point line.

According to a team spokesman, the results of the MRI will be announced Friday.

Williams did not practice Thursday morning and his availability tomorrow against Minnesota at EnergySolutions Arena will be determined before the game.

Meanwhile, Raja Bell and Kyrylo Fesenko did not practice.

Bell is bothered by neck and shoulder soreness. Fesenko remains ill with a sinus infection. Their availability against Minnesota will likely come down to a game-time decision.

Paul Millsap will play against the Timberwolves, however. He suffered a severely bruised thumb in Tuesday night's 120-91 loss to the Lakers in Los Angeles.

Millsap was questionable for the Spurs game but started and played 18 foul-plagued minutes. He finished with eight points and three rebounds.
