More than the 25 points he put up against San Jose State, more than the 22 points he scored against Hawaii, Brian Green's week was simply amazing to watch.

The senior guard is the best shooter in the conference, that much is for sure. He faces constant attention every game, guys are assigned to never leave him room to shoot, and not only does he get open he knocks down shot after shot. He's become a vital part of the Aggies rotation, to the point that he's eating into the minutes of some of the starters.

He's Utah State's most trusted perimeter scorer, and he's expanded his game to the point that he's no longer just a shooter.

Green hit two game-tying shots in the road win over Hawaii, and he carried Utah State in the win over the Spartans on Thursday. He's one of the most obvious player of the week candidates this season in any WAC school.

"I dont look at it that way," Green told the Tribune. "I have great teammates who set great screens. I'm part of a great team and that's what really matters. We won two important games this week, and that's what we needed to do. The award is great and all, and it's a great honor. But it's about more than awards."
