You could say that "Better Call Saul" (11 p.m., AMC) is slow. I'd rather say it's deliberate.
It's definitely more deliberately paced than a network drama, and that's a big part of what I like about it. I don't know that I'd want to watch 10 shows like this, but I certainly enjoy watching this one.
In the Season 3 premiere, Chuck (Michael McKean) remains determined to derail Jimmy's (Bob Odenkirk) legal career and this time, he has aa great deal of ammunition.
• Also tonight's it's the premiere of the three-part, six-hour documentary "The Great War" (8 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7) and it's fascinating. (Continues Tuesday; concludes Wednesday.)
• And the second of three episodes of "Antiques Roadshow" (7 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7) filmed in Salt Lake City features a whole bunch of material from the contractor who built the Spiral Jetty.
