Real Salt Lake midfielder Kyle Beckerman returns to U.S. Men's National Team duty Sept. 6 in a friendly against Belgium at King Baudouin Stadium. The game is scheduled to air on ESPN at 12:30 p.m.

Beckerman's 90-minute performance Aug. 10 during the United States' 1-1 draw against Mexico in Philadelphia drew positive remarks from new U.S coach Jurgen Klinsmann.

For his part, Beckerman said Klinsmann, who was coaching his first game as U.S. coach, brought a positive attitude to the American squad.

"It was really fun to be a part of," Beckerman said recently. "The neat thing about it was we got stronger and we got better as a team as the game wore on.

"I also appreciate Coach Klinsmann and U.S. Soccer for being flexible and allowing me to stick around with RSL next weekend for what will be a very important game against Philadelphia."

Beckerman will play with RSL on Sept. 3 in a home game against Philadelphia before departing for Belgium. —
