State softball rankings for the Week of May 7.

Class 5A

Davis • Four wins over the week, including road triumph at West, vaults Darts to the top

West • Panthers fall to Davis at home, take it out on Viemont 19-4 the next day

Herriman • Mustangs rough up Lone Peak and American Fork in region, then take win from 4A No. 1 Spanish Fork

Bingham • Victories over primary challengers Copper Hills and Taylorsville solidifies Miners' position at top of region

Fremont • Silverwolves now 10-0 in region after Hadley Bennett homers, has 8 RBIs, in trouncing of Roy

Class 4A

Spanish Fork • Dons rest pitcher Cambrie Hazel in non-region loss to Herriman; back to Region 8 play Tuesday vs. Maple Mountain

Box Elder • Nyah DeRyke and Brylee Marziale pitch Bees to three wins, including 10-0 victory over Bear River

Uintah • Only two region losses for Utes against powerful Spanish Fork

Cyprus • Pirates beat Murray, now winners of 10 straight

Corner Canyon • Chargers have scored 10-plus runs in last six games, including 11-0 win over Orem last week

Class 3A

Juab • Taelyn Ballow and Kloi Park drive in four each as Wasps cruise by Canyon View

Bear River • After loss to Box Elder, Bears win when it counts by beating Ridgeline in region showdown

Cedar City • Stays unbeaten in region play by walloping Desert Hills 10-0

Ridgeline • Riverhawks fall 5-1 to Bear River, close regular season schedule Tuesday at Juan Diego

Stansbury • Stallions earn their way into rankings by winning 7-6 region battle at Grantsville

Class 2A

Enterprise • Run production stays high for Wolves, who score 17 each in routs of Canyon View and Pine View

South Summit • Three wins include shutout of defending champ Manti and non-region clash with Gunnison Valley

Gunnison Valley • Bulldogs bludgeon Piute a couple of times but lose tough one-run battle at South Summit

Manti • Templars head into state with region loss to South Summit and defeat to Class 5A Taylorsville

Summit Academy • Summit Academy sweeps through region undefeated, has averaged almost 17 runs a game over last seven
