Earlier this week, we talked about Alex Jensen leaving St. Louis University and Rick Majerus for a job as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers' D-League affiliate.

According to ESPN's Andy Katz, Majerus moved quickly to replace his lead assistant and former star player by hiring former Army head coach Jim Crews. Yet, according to Katz, Majerus was peeved that the Cavs swooped in and hired away Jensen.

Among the good stuff from Katz:

The move stunned Majerus, who had been close to Jensen since coaching him at Utah. Majerus was livid with the Cavs for hiring away Jensen now, right before the start of the season.

As was reported in the spring, Jensen turned down an opportunity to join Larry Krystkowiak's side at Utah.
