The Utah County Health Department will now post the results of restaurant inspections on its website for customers to review. According to a new release issued Thursday morning, diners can go to www.UtahCountyHealth.org and follow the "restaurant inspection search" link. "The public has always been able to come to our office and request to see a record," Terry Beebe, Environment Health Division director said in the release. "Posting the information online just makes for easier access." Individuals will be able to look up a local eatery and see any violations that have been issued over the past 18 months.

Beebe said only problems will be recorded. "If nothing is listed, they were doing well at the time of their last inspection."

Health Departments in Salt Lake, Davis and the Weber-Morgan Counties already post restaurant inspection reports on their respective websites.
