Basketball: Former Olympus star Nicholas Paulos scores 25 points in his fifth college game

We occasionally use this space to provide updates on former Utah high school stars who are playing at out-of-state colleges Former Olympus High forward Nicholas Paulos is off to a fantastic start this season at UNC-Greensboro. The freshman scored 25 points Sunday against Towson in a 72-60 win in the consolation game of the EA Sports Maui Invitational Mainland Regional. Paulos was 9 of 15 from the field, including 6 of 11 from three-point range. The Spartans improved to 2-3 win the win. Paulos is averaging 17 minutes a game and scoring 8.8 points per game, second highest on the team.
