Utah offensive lineman Sam Brenner, who was removed from Rice-Eccles Stadium in an ambulance, suffered a neck injury but has full movement, according to Utah school officials.

The game was delayed almost 10 minutes while Brenner was attended to by medical personnel.

The crowd gave one of its biggest cheers of the game when Brenner raised his right arm in the air as he was placed into the ambulance.

The junior from Oceanside, Calif., has started all 12 games for the Utes this season and has given up just one sack this year.

On the play before Brenner was hurt, star running back John White suffered a left leg injury and was taken to the locker room on a cart.

The injuries have seemed to inspire the Utes, who responded with an 11-play, 68 yard drive that culminated in a three-yard touchdown run by backup back Tauni Vakapuna to cut Colorado's lead to 10-7 with 10:29 remaining in the third quarter.
