For fans of the Utah Symphony in the Ogden area, it's a concert. For Santa Claus, it's reconnaissance.

The Utah Symphony will perform its holiday program, "Here Comes Santa Claus," on Monday, Dec. 12, at Weber State University's Austad Auditorium in the Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts, 638 26th St., Ogden.

The show starts at 7 p.m.

As the title implies, the big guy in the red suit will be in attendance. (If you can't get up to Ogden, the Symphony will be performing the show Friday, Dec. 16, at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City.)

The Ogden show is presented by the Ogden Symphony-Ballet Association. For ticket information, call (801) 399-9214.
