The Cathedral Choir offers its annual Christmas Carol Service on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 4 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City.

The service features music of the Advent and Christmas seasons, including plainchant, choral works and traditional carols. As is tradition, it will begin with a solo child voice intoning the traditional Latin chant Rorate caeli – Drop down dew, you heavens, from above, and let the clouds rain the just.

Admission is free, but to obtain guaranteed seating passes call the concert information line at 801-994-4663. Leave your name, the spelling of your last name, the number of passes you need (limit of four), the date of the concert you would like to attend, and a phone number where you can be reached to confirm your request.

You can pick up your reserved seating pass in the advancement office in Erbin Hall on the campus of The Madeleine Choir School (205 1st Ave., Salt Lake City), or on the evening of the performance at at Will Call in the vestibule next to the elevator.
