West Valley City Mayor Mike Winder sat down for this week's Three Questions feature to discuss Guns N' Roses, E-verify and how the Richard Burwash pen name situation affected him personally.

Winder joined Axl Rose on stage Tuesday during the Guns N' Roses concert at the Maverik Center to present the Hall of Fame rocker with the key to the city and now shares why he decided to do so.

The mayor also talks about the E-verify system, which West Valley City Council is considering asking businesses to use to check the immigration status of their employees, and the effect it would have on the city's businesses.

Finally, Winder discusses the controversy surrounding his use of the pen name Richard Burwash, under which he submitted several stories to local news media outlets.

Each week, social media editors Kim McDaniel and Scott Sherman will ask three questions of a newsmaker. Some questions will be serious, some fun and others out of left field. The goal is to look at news from a different angle.
