Orono, Maine • The Utah Valley men's basketball team pieced together a 25-6 run midway through the second half, but couldn't overcome a 27-point deficit as Maine's hot shooting propelled the Black Bears to a 77-60 victory over the Wolverines on Monday night in Memorial Gymnasium.

Ben Aird led UVU (6-7) with 13 points.
