Taylorsville police are seeking the public's help in locating a gunman who held up an Arby's restaurant Wednesday night.

Police said Thursday that the suspect — described as a white man wearing a black coat, black cap and a green bandana as a mask — walked into the restaurant near 3700 West and 5400 South about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. He displayed a silver-colored handgun and demanded cash.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported. The suspect, who reportedly leaped over the counter to empty the till, fled on foot.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call the Taylorsville Police Department at 801-743-7000.
