Utah Jazz shootaround notes — Same starters, Corbin on Bucks' Bogut, exceeding expectations

Notes following the Jazz's shootaround Tuesday morning at EnergySolutions Arena.Utah is expected to start Devin Harris, Raja Bell, Gordon Hayward, Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson against the Milwaukee Bucks.All 13 Jazz players should be active.Utah coach Tyrone Corbin on the team exceeding initial expectations if they start 3-3 while playing six games in eight nights: Our idea was to come out and try and win every game we play. Whatever expectations are … or a lack thereof, we expect to compete every night we step out on the floor. We've got an opportunity to improve our record — 3-3 tonight — but it's not going to be easy. Milwaukee's a good ballclub and we're going to have to compete against them as if they are coming in here to win, which I think they are and I expect them to. Scott Skiles' teams always play well, they're one of the better defensive teams in the league and we're going to have to execute. Our expectations is to win as many games when we step on the floor. Respect for Skiles: He's been a guy that's proven in this league. He played at a high level of intensity with grit and fought it out, especially on the defensive end of the floor. I have huge respect for him and I think he does a great job with the talent that he has on his team. Andrew Bogut: I think he's healthy. The last few years he's had some injuries. He's a versatile big guy that's continued to get better and learn this game and learn how he can continue to take advantage of the different guys as big as he is or in some cases smaller. He's a versatile player who can really pass the ball, who can make moves in the low post. His game has continued to get better.Shootarounds the morning after a game the previous night are rare, but Corbin said he wanted his team to take advantage of playing two home contests back-to-back.Al Jefferson: "[Andrew] Bogut's a special player. ... I love playing against him because he makes me step up."Jefferson and Corbin said they're not concerned with the center's lack of free throws.

Josh Howard estimated he's at 90 percent of his maximum productivity. He's feeling inreasingly confident, but doesn't have his "legs" yet.

Howard said the Jazz have made recent progress with defensive communication. Milwaukee guard Mike Dunleavy will be with the team. He wasn't Monday at Denver due to illness.Bucks guard Ben Undrih left the game against the Nuggets during the third quarter due to a left shoulder contusion and didn't return.
