Happy Friday, the week has been full of politicians announcing their candidacy and state lawmakers giving up their seats and it should continue today with state Rep. Chris Herrod, who is expected to announce his run against Sen. Orrin Hatch today.

Topping the news: State Rep. Holly Richardson will resign from the Legislature to work on Dan Liljenquist's campaign against Hatch. [Trib]

-> Jon Huntsman got the coveted endorsement of the Boston Globe, the biggest paper in New England, and the paper in Romney's home state. The Globe said Huntsman "would be the best candidate to seize this moment in GOP history, and the best-prepared to be president." [Globe] [MSNBC]

-> One-fourth of Utah adults have not registered to vote, according to Census estimates. [Trib]
