This is how connected Parker Posey is to the Sundance Film Festival: When "The Simpsons" spoofed the festival in a 2008 episode, a banner over Park City's Main Street read "Sundance: Where Parker Posey meets parka'd posers."

That reputation will be cemented even further this year. Not only is Posey appearing in the Premieres title "Price Check," but today festival organizers announced she will host this year's Awards Ceremony on Jan. 28.

Including "Price Check," Posey has appeared in 15 Sundance films - including "The House of Yes" (1997), for which she won a special jury prize for her performance, and the 2002 Grand Jury Prize winner "Personal Velocity."
